Protection & Energy Saving Devices

TV sets or other audio-video devices are most of the time switched to Stand By mode (switched off by using remote control). It is important to know that even in this mode the devices are exposed to various mains supply anomalies like short and long-term overvoltages, lightning effects, voltage variations etc. These effects are in most cases the reason for damages. On the other hand even in Stand By mode the devices consume electric energy (power consumption: 5 up to 15 W for TV sets).

Using the ECOMAN Protection and Energy Saving Devices the following benefits are achieved:

- There is no power consumption and mains anomalies have no effect to connected devices when they are in Stand By mode (they are fully i.e. with relay disconnected from mains installation).
